I have not worn a mask a single time since all this started, even in liberal areas like the bay area and the coast.
I've gone into stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. None of them got gestapoed.

Stop convincing yourself that the boogeyman exists and just live your life already.

wife just cancelled a vet appointment, despite things "opening up" around here, people aren't allowed to accompany pets into the vet apparently. she called 3 places before finding one that would let her in with the cat, but stipulation was she had to wear a face covering from the time she left the house! :lmao:

My wife works for a Vet hospital and that's SOP these days. And business has been booming with all of the people home with fluffy all day, "Oh mah God, he looks sick, he's sleeping too much, he barfed up a hairball." Where usually fluffy is home alone all day and just fine. They're just trying to keep the number of vectors down.

my inlaws brought us a barn cat after the new year, some stray they picked up. my comment was "well, i guess its better he dies in Castroville than in Conroe." well, he's stayed around and alive for 4 weeks now and the wife if going to take him for castration next week, if we can catch him. They never said anything about masks or coming out to get him. but it will be funny if i just get to hand a vet tech an amazon box duct tape shut they have to open inside by themselves. :lmao:

Typically they come out with a carrier and then you put the animal in the carrier. Sounds like you're handing off a honey badger.
 
President's Day weekend is going to end my lockdown/pause early. Just in time for people to go out to dinner and spend some money so the state doesn't have to pass a new tax while also giving up extended unemployment and saying how they need to keep evictions illegal. Good news....there is talk of a third wave coming in March because the virus DNA has mutated to evade the vaccine. So hopefully it's strong enough to have the daily cases get back up to where they belong. For the children. My kid hasn't been sick in over a year. it's awesome.

My Dr was wearing two the other day. I called her on it. She said the first one was an n95 a d the other was for fashion.:lmao:
