Local rc shop has a ramp with skateboard grip tape and a digital degree meter. Thw ramp is approx 4.5' long. I had never tried it. I was there buying a new steering servo. Mine sheared off the mounts getting bound up in a ravine.
Did 65.5 degrees. My truck would get half way up at 66, but then the front would go to either side so, I couldn't make it to the top. If I could have kept it straight, it would have pulled it. The front tires were barely touching though.
The record is 67 degrees according to the shop owner.
Balance is 61/39
10ii rails, Hobby Wing 1800, Element trans, ar44s with JConcept Landmines (1.9) running dual foams and OD front gears.
My son finished putting together his Poised T3 with Vanquish axles. I am unsure what his driveline is. He scored 65 degrees. Balance is 60/40. He is running Megalithic tires (1.9)
I love living in Prescott. Killer terrain for RC crawling shenanigans when I don't have the Jeep out. We go out to the Dells often as they are super close, and free.
I plan to join the comps this year, why not.
Mine is "old yeller"
