I bought an EcoFlow River 2 power station that failed on my first camping trip out. Ok, it happens. Call the company when I got back and quickly determined that it was non-repairable and I could exchange it for a refurbished one that may or may not have cosmetic damage. I told them no, I have a brand new unit that has no damage and I won't take a scratch and dent.
So I asked for and received a refund.
Where the fun started is when I left a review. I gave them one star, not for the product, but for wanting to send me a marred unit.
They quickly emailed and said they would send me a $50 gift card to delete my review and I told them no, I just wanted to exchange like for like.
That went to $100 and I still said no. They then offered to send me a new River 2.
So I got a free power station, retracted my review and used the money I saved to get the solar panel to charge it while camping.
So far the replacement works great.
