Photo dump of the progress that was made. I finally picked the Jeep up an it was everything that I wanted. The only problem it was a dog and didn’t drive very well due to only having the Superduty stock 3.73 gears.

Brakes were spongy, so I installed a Dodge 2500 MC. Because of the stretch, gas tank was relocated to the trunk area.

I also scored an awesome deal on a SYE for the NP231. My buddy needed the back half off a stock 231, for a swap he needed and the drive shaft was to long. So free 99 to me and a couple of hours of work.

While on deployment, I finally got my gears in that I had ordered. Since I plan to build in stages to be able to put the Jeep down for as little as possible and to continue to wheel. 4.56 gears made the world of difference being able to actually drive the Jeep down the road. The only limiting factor was the little 2.5L under the hood. Not enough power to brake anything.

What is the intended purpose of the multiple coils between your master cylinder and the proportioning valve?

To acts as a "shock absorber". I was taught that since the master cylinder is mounted to the body and the junction block is mounted to the chassis, there is some "twisting" motion between the two. The coil absorbs this motion preventing the eventual stress cracking of the lines at the master cylinder. Is it right I dunno but I have seen it both ways.

In 2018, I started my Wheeling prep! My bachelor party before I got married was at Rausch Creek up in Pennsylvania. My wife wanted me to be safer than joy running the stock roll cage so I picked up the trail gear front half kit and had my buddy help weld it in.
