I have race car(s) more than two so I definitely hate having money. Also have a sweet tooth for bang switches.

Other guys pretty well covered it.Where though?
Swap in a 9mm conversion barrel and magsI have a G27 I want to trade for a G26, but I have ammo to shoot out first unless I can find someone (not a gun shop) to trade. I’ve also got lots of magazines. The gun shops I’ve talked to won’t take the ammo and want $200 for the trade for a used G26.
For the price that gen of Glocks sell for, he might as well.Swap in a 9mm conversion barrel and mags
I have a conversion barrel, but I don’t like it being different than my other glocks. My OCD wants them all identical so I can swap parts.Swap in a 9mm conversion barrel and mags
My EDC's that in rotation are all .40 still except my little .380 pocket piece. When 9mm was super hard to find I was still able to get .40 anywhere. Everywhere local to me still stocks it and I bought out the local PD's .40 carry ammo a few years back. I've thought about a slimmer carry vs. my G27 a few times and looked at these little 9mm micro compacts but never popped on one. I think about going to 9mm for lower cost ammo once in awhile but never made the switch.
I don’t really care about the cost of ammo. Shooting the G27 vs the G26 is nearly the same in every respect except a quick repeat shot. I found I could double tap my G26 with a group of about 3” or less. (Maybe 7 yards). I can’t do that with the 27. I do have a micro nine and to be honest, I probably can’t do it with that either.
I’m probably getting old. Are you a big guy? A younger stronger guy can probably “deaden” the kick better.Odd, I've done it with a 26,27 and 29sf (10mm) and never noticed it being an issue. Never bothered measuring a group but 6" steel rings at 10 yards pretty easily. I will admit my 27 isn't box stock but the 10mm I shot was.

It’s just a centerfire pistol. Get an Encore in .308 or a .500 Smith. Practice with those and then grab a 9 or 10 and try. They become nothing suddenly.I’m probably getting old. Are you a big guy? A younger stronger guy can probably “deaden” the kick better.
