2000 F250 blower motor has power w/o key in ignition, what gives?

Just discovered this yesterday after replacing my one year old diehard agm. Hopped in the truck after throwing the battery in and the fan was blowing w/o the key in the ignition. I hate electrical crap so this is bizarre. Accessory position has never worked in this truck in the 10 years I've had it. Nothing else has power, not the radio, not the windows, just the fan motor. Needless to say, I'm clueless and need some direction.

Sounds like ing. Switch issues...
Does that year have a transfer rod from top key down to actual electric Switch like say a brick nose?
