1992 F-150 4X4 Price Check

Pull the carpet and power wash do the same with seat let air dry. Just be careful with the seat so you don’t damage it , you won’t hurt carpet .

Resolve carpet spray + nylon brush + shop vac = poor man's rug doctor.

It needs more attention in a few spots, but I'm pleased with the results so far.

The carpet is cleaning up pretty good so far, see pic above.

The seat is in really rough shape. I might do a seat cover, but I'm going to check the local yards first to see if I can find a red or black seat in better shape. As far as I can tell, there are a lot of years that the seats are intechangeable, just need to do more research and hit the junkyard.

80-97
someone on here was saying the earlier superduties have the same floorpan stamping, so some of them might swap in but who the hell knows
Floor is the same 80-04. I wouldn't be surprised if it's front row only and there's some ex cab or crew cab gotcha though.

Pull the carpet . You might clean the surface in some rough areas but you’re not removing much without pulling it . I would definitely swap that seat you’re right there’s probably better options online or in junkyard .

Honestly power washing vehicle carpet is rewarding and about as addictive as those rug cleaning videos 😂😂

I replaced the transfer case actuator and now it shifts correctly. I haven't driven it in 4 wheel drive to assess whether the hubs are good or not, but I'll go for a drive as soon as I get a seat bolted back in. I was able to put the passenger kick panel and dash bezel back in for good now that the 4X4 works and i don't need access to switch wiring and the module.

The actuator was pretty staright forward, but the blue, green (VSS) and brown (electric clutch?) wires need to be de-pinned from the old actuator connector and re-pinned into the electrical connector on the new actuator. Ford makes de-pinning a simple process, so that was fairly easy.

I just ordered a new fuel pump for the rear tank, so I'll be installing that in the next couple of days. After that, the mechanical systems are pretty much fixed and I can start working on buffing and polishing the paint. I'm hoping to have this pile ready to advertise and sell by the end of this week or beginning of next week. Running total is now up to $785.20 in total expenses so far.

power windows are an easy fix. Remove the regulators and you'll find the plastic piece around the shafts are broken or falling apart. Replace those with 3 ball bearings and your good to go.
This is exactly what was wrong with them. Thanks for the advice.
