1973 Pontiac BBK help

old tie rods and ball joints. But they all felt tight.

Is rear likely to cause a pull? Or go ahead and rebuild the front suspension I guess if its not that

I don't know, our service truck pulls right when breaking. Did pretty similar to what you did, still pulls. I would check the idler arm and mount, the thing on the passenger side.

unrelated, but i skipped over the seasoning part of the brakes and kind of started laying into it hard

oops?

long tubes, all welded and shitty bent (not mandrel), BUT the leak is fixed and thats good enough for me.

Apprently 5-6 days of light driving for seasoning the rotors, and then bedding the brakes. Kind of fucked that up, but Im sure evwntuallt it will eve out.

The pulling thing, guess new ball joints and tie rods next. should have done it when the knuckles were apart, but they seemed tight.

6 speed swap would be sweet...

I've been changing all of my own personal vehicles over to powerstop carbon fiber ceramic pads with great success over the last couple of years. They have a strict bedding procedure that I've followed exactly.

My work owned van is a 2021 Chevy Express 2500 with 39K, and I bought the same pads for that vehicle. The company recently hired an ex-dealership mechanic to take care of our fleet. He installed them, but insisted to take the first drive, even though I was clear on the bedding process. He fucked it all up. Two weeks later, the brakes are still pulsating, and almost causing deathwobbles on hard stops. I doubt they'll ever be right.

Yes i am an idiot by testing them before any kind of break in, it wasnt stopping for shit so i thought its just air, lesson learnes

but did i fuck up my pads? Or keep running them and eventually they will level out?

Been maybe 600 miles so far, taken off today.
