Dont want to pay the money to rent an enclosed trailer, going to try making some sides for the trailer and see if they will work.

Old dried 2x4 had no issues going into the pockets, new low quality 2x4 had to be shaved a touch

Cut a bunch of 2x4x8 in half and added a nail 5-6/12 up from the end

Installed as uprights

Need to go grab my truck back and bring the trailer to the front side

Beings I've just got the one upright behind the axles, figured I'd run 3x 2x4x12 to span across it all with an angled 2x4 across those 3, floating above the axle

Anything I need to really be aware of when doing this? Going to run 1 at the bottom as a toe kick and one at the top and one about in the middle. Just looking to hold in boxes of various size

Will you use carriage bolts? Maybe locktite on the nuts. Not sure what was used on old cattle racks. They had carriage bolts, not sure why the nuts where never loose.

Used nails. Should only need a few trips, can always go to carriage bolts in the future. Those would prove much more long term.

But you could sell it, buy an old pice of **** trailer, spend the next 17 months rebuilding it and pocket $43
:flipoff2:
My current old piece of **** trailer says that's a lie

I'm not even sure how much I want to trust it with 1k lbs for this move, what with only the one frame side scabbed together and the other still bent a bit

That's because you made the mistake of buying a tube frame trailer that rusted out from the inside. A yankee would never make that mistake. :flipoff2:
