Leaf Looker YJ

7hrs in she threw a throw out bearing. Limped to my brother's house in Brigham city and fixed that. not to far out of cedar city a boot clamp worked its way back from the intercooler, tightened that up. Other than those things she did flat awesome. 346k on the girl and she averaged 12.5mpg through the trip.
I really like your bros is the permanent breakdown spot and he has no idea haha

last few months been crazy. more money pushed me to change jobs with the utility I'm with. That back burned offroad life for a little while. Lot less wheeling but still managed to get more going on this heep.

winter progression update....

rear getting setup.

cut into the housing for the spring pad then heat... then weld... then peen... then post heat... then wrap.

funny. 16 year old me just welded the pad right on it, ran great for years. 36 me is over thinking maybe but it felt better.

hydro assist.

been 13 years since I've played this game. i like to build 2... that way if one is messed up or if i mess one up i have extra pieces. neither happened here. both rebuilt easy and one is on the shelf for a spare.

there was a ton of details i didn't catch photos of. when i had time id just charge through whatever i needed to get done.

SUA with SOME travel is a pain to package but has been a dream of mine for way too long. she's never gonna crawl like my buggy but should be a blast to trail wheel.

still a good sized list to finish up but decent amount of progress this winter. had to stop for a month to rebuild my dually pickups trans and awhole bunch of life stuff that needed my attention.

new gig is starting to stabilize some so hopefully should be wrapped up soon with allot of this phase.
