Towed it over to the eastside this last weekend. VanDiesel towed better than I expected.
We did 2 days of driving, around 110 miles. Much of the time in 4wd. For having 2 brand new builds I think we only had to pop a hood once.
My brother (buc4x) and I. Was great to be back out in the woods.
We decided to hit a small trail section, kinda forgot how steep some of the climbs are. Being the first ones in and ****ty snow conditions, we decided to turn around after buc4x got in a slippery pickle.
We were a little concerned if we could get back out the way we came in and it was getting dark. One long steep climb and not a lot of good winch options.
All I can say is the l86/8l90 combo has tremendous wheel speed. Left it in D and low we were flying. The 8l90 shifts fast, and will drop multiple gears eagerly. By the top we were ping ponging pretty good it was all I could do to watch my rpm lights and keep it in the gully. Needless to say I am impressed and the car did very good.
