Any info on that Bronco body?

Of course it is discontinued :homer: I would really like to use an early bronco body on one of my builds, but the old school HPI body I have is too big for a competition build and it looks like the current Proline body with the hard top is as well. The axial body is over-priced and the Tamiya body might be too small. I would really like to see someone with pictures of the Tamiya body on a ~12.5" wheelbase crawler.

I think if you search on the part number, there are some out there still for sale. It is more compact than the deadbolt body.

Proline made their own cage for it as well.

I had the HPi Bronco body and still have the HPI D90 body…. They are huge. More like 1/8 scale.

Good comp today! I don't have any of the classes that were running, so I set a course and helped judge a little and did some practice with my Trail Class cars.

I took the 1.9 rig out after work since the weather is getting nice. The Trepadors are definitely starting to do better now that they are breaking in. I was able to one shot a big slab climb that I couldn't get at all the last time I was out at this spot.

4 year old helped me replace the broken shock tower on our old monster truck friday night.

Saturday morning he got a bit rowdy and slammed the passenger a arm into a chainlink fence post that happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. So back to the drawing board. It's a 20 year old chassis tho, and I'm not sure I can find a replacement arm. Might have to move to a different chassis.

Few from last nights garage crawl.

The mini line up.

SCX30 did the strap bridge up to rainbow road. This little truck is truly impressive, may have to get one of these.

That looks like a fun course. I had a nice 24th scale course on a 4x8 table in my shop. Eventually I got bored crawling by myself so I got rid of it.

uh... a couple.... Haha

I have my original 3 exceeds from the early days. VP phoenix, an Axial SR5 and the mn99s rover. Wife has the minis: sxc30 teal chevy, scx24 gx470 and the fms24 power wagon. All the other trucks in the pictures are friends rigs that come over to crawl.

I dont have a whole group shot yet.. and Im sure there will be more. Cant take it with you amirite.

I am at 7 now with the 1.9 Trail class rig, the 2.2 Trail Class rig, the Sportsman, the Pro, the Gilamon, the SCX24, and the AX24. It's too much, and I think 7 is my hard limit at this point  I only had one for the longest time.
