Is this a one-off trailer?
What would it be used for?

Some specs:
1) 10' flatbed
2) 48" between wheel fenders
3) 2.5"X40" leaf springs
4)Both ends of leaf springs appears fixed/no shackles.
5) 20"dually/6-lug axle
6) 34" ground to bed
7) Appears to have drum brakes but no hydraulic lines or cables attached.

He doesn't have a ***le/"working on it".

Yeah. The more i think about it are dollies drop tounge? At least goint back 60ish years
I've never seen one but I wasn't around to look at them 70yr ago.

UPS pup trailers are set up with a pintle real low, like 1ft below normal. I suppose a single axle dolly could accommodate that. Might have some pros under heavy braking.

I still think it's a chipper or genset trailer.

Frame is too thin to be a tractor trailer dolly. They’re usually something around 3/8-1/2” thick single frame. That Pintle set up is too light as well. I think this is a modified genset trailer probably set up to haul a 5th wheel rv like slowpoke said above, it seems to be the right height you’d need to match a pick up frame although the 6 lug rim would require carrying around a weird sized spare unless you’re hauling with an Isuzu or an older 2.5 ton
