Build “Brophy Jeep” Street Legal Ultra4 4500 class CJ6

After some consideration I decided to not mount the GPS inside the dash at this point. I like the idea of the removable/adjustable mount with handle on the passenger side with a plug.
I was going to run a small Baja 5” On the driver side but won’t be doing that either. I’m going to run a nice GPs enabled tablet in the center of the dash that I can a few different mapping and GPS apps with external antenna. It will also double as music and entertainment. When it comes to race trim I will mount the bigger lowrance. Otherwise it’s not needed and a big add hole in the dash

That sounds to be about the size of my first radiator on my 4500 car. I was running a stock LQ4 and it wasn't enough. Just barely though.. it would slowly rise in temp the whole race. Switched to a big ol CBR rear rad and no issues.

I love the look of the new bumper! looks great.
What was the brand. Seems a lot of the older griffin and even Ron Davis didn’t cool
Like the new PWR or CBR stuff. I’m running a 23”x26” Triton Race Coolers with 4 fans

Gotcha. I’m sure you’ll be fine then. I was running a Northern Radiator. It was more directed to LS swaps, so I’m sure it wasn’t the best.

Here a good look at the pedal assembly. The rod will have a rubber grommet through the firewall. It will be in the engine bay so if I do need to change one. With the exhaust outside of the frame and how high it it’s heat and water should not be much of a concern

Have similar sized rad in my buggy. 18" brushless spal fan fits nicely and keeps it simple.

Does that cell have a bladder? Or are you having a custom bladder made once you're finished modifying the can?

That is a jeep speed fuel cell with bladder. I spoke with JAZ directly and they gave me the green light to make the mods and the parts to do it and extra gaskets. For now I will run the modified bladder if I have issue I’ll consider a new one

That would have been much simpler. This is what triton suggested. I think we will stage the fans like a high/low deal plus I’m a sucker for redundant systems! Hell I’m running dual alternators. lol it made more sense than one 240+amp mecham one.

parallel for max efficiency.
series for ease of plumbing.

Or get RadialDynamics parallel cooler (on the right of the pic)

After measuring and a researching and thinking this is what I came up with. Here you can see the parallel mock up. The Y-Block will be mounted off the tubes at the outside edges of the radiator. Theater will be a 90* fitting to make that turn lather than trying to bend a hose around it through the tube work. The option for plumbed in series is definitely equally on the table but once hoses are started and routed we will know. -12 feed from res to pump and the rest is -8. People are telling me it’s overkill but to me over kill is underrated.
We will see. My luck it all ****s the bed no matter what. lol

Who is people?
They're wrong.
One lives in truckee and says it will run too cold under 30* when snow wheeling. He runs deep o in his JK on tons and PSC steering. I will go snow wheeling a handful of time if only 1-2 year. So not an issue.
The other has a Liberty mountain car with a single one that’s not getting nearly the air flow and he said he has no issues.

Originally I tried to get there with just 2.5” clear hose but the angles were just to sharp so I ordered some tight radius 45* that Derek made fit perfectly! Looking back I would have tried to make the filler a little higher but I reallly couldn’t have gotten much more.

Dude they are making great progress!!!!!!
They work 6am-3pm with an hour lunch at 11am. They don’t stay late or work weekends but they keep their head down and work all day!! I don’t bug them and they don’t respond to people unless it’s early or lunch or end of day.
I have been really happy with them. It was like pulling teeth to get Derek to take pictures for me regularly. I would have to ask and still kinda have to remind him. They do t document a lot or post much.
