Race truck 4653

You won the freestyle competition portion of qualifying for sure! :flipoff2:

Do you have to fix the nose per rules? If not, I bet you have much better visibility now with it sloped down like it was after the roll. :smokin:

That's one way to make the highlight reel!

I already went crazy with a cut-off wheel. The front will get some tube added this time for rigidity and radiator protection.

Whats your race budget per race? :homer:

Never enough :lmao:

1-Consumables for race prep
2-Race entry fees
3-Race trackers
4-Fuel
5-Lodging
6-Meals
7-Replacing broken parts post race

This season I spent too much on #7 early in the season. This caused us to drop the V2R race and move funds to the Nationals race.

What a great season! It's actually not over LOL. The 2025 KOH race will count towards the final points of the 2024 U4 Season.

Probably has something to do with the cluster **** the U4 series was before Dave got it back. Wasn't there canceled races when all that went down?
It was a cluster for sure with canceled races as well, but carrying forward points into an entirely new year seems like even more of a cluster to me. I wasn't on the planning committee so maybe there is some kind of logic to it that I just don't comprehend

yea thats interesting. i always said KOH should be a double points winner take all kind of thing, but dave always said he wanted it to kick the season off then get mad when people didnt race the season.

Agreed on your thinking about points. I'm always amazed by tire companies sponsoring racers that "only race" a single race all year long and also don't do big automotive festival type things (SEMA, Holley LS/Ford type things).

I got the fuel pumped out of the tank, removed the baffles, found that the return line in the tank was not submersible. The material from the hose was clogging up the pre pump filter and killing the pumps. I cleaned out the cell, replaced the return line, installed the HydraMat and new fuel pumps. The truck is back up and running correctly.

When running an IPAD with lead nav, maprika, ONx etc... do you need it to have a wireless data package? Of can you you somehow hot sopt it off your phone etc. Id consider this, but no desire to add a device to my cell plan.

You need an iPad that has satellite / data capabilities or have to add a satellite antenna. If you want the background imagery as shown on the screen above you need to have cell service or have a leadnav pro subscription where you predownload the imagery for the route or course you are planning to run.

edit: im speaking about leadnav, I dont know anything about onx maprika etc.
