Well damn, the last thread worked, lets try one more time.

All the local AZ Clist/FB Marketplace postings either get no reply after requesting to buy, or are located in Delaware or some ****.

Local dealeship wants mid $3xx for one.

If I found and "Orange Krush" one, I would be stoked.

Car-part.com can be helpful, it’s just an online database of junkyards. You can sorr by distance, price etc. LKQ will ship too if you happen to find one at one of their yards
I have have never been on Car-part. Will check it out, thanks.

But yours is so angry, why would you change that?
I went out to KOH this year, and saw one other angry Jeep :lmao:.

I hope the prior owner didnt butcher any mounts or wiring....time will tell.

The aftermarket ones bolt in easy so your mounts should be fine.

Have you looked on ebay, seems like people selling off their old stock grill would be popular?

The aftermarket Certa fit and other actually work pretty well I’ve used a couple

Red one popped up local today off a 2017.

Told him Ill pick it up tomorrow, hopefully he will hold it.

The local Napa used to sell color matched paint in aeresol cans, wonder if that would turn out decent vs dropping it off at a paint shop.

The grill is currently red.

Picked up the grill.

Its off a 17 Sahara. I will keep the inserts silver.

Local Napa cant get aerosol cans, so the search for paint continues, unless I paint it black.

A lot of paint suppliers, online and local, should be able to mix paint and put it in a can for you.

Seems pretty close, gonna give it a try.

The paint is faded on the Jeep (you can see the old Rubicon sticker outlines on the hood, so a factory match, wont match anyway.

If it looks horrid you can always do black. The gloss black grille option seems to be popular on the JLs.

Sanded the other grill with some 600 grit. Then hit it with a good first coat.

Ill go back after it dries from that and fix any bad spots and do a top coat.

It should turn out decent enough.

It turned out ok with the first coat except for a few orange peel spots.

One I tried to fix right away, that was a mistake.

The silver inserts make them look like they are out of India. 🤷🏻‍♂️
