Pic dump from HMT... will add details later... For anybody that has ever thought about going I would HIGHLY suggest you go! I cant even explain how much I enjoyed it.... we rode 320 miles in 3 days
And the suspension fuckery begins.... step 1 towards smoothing out some of the chop and bucking in the rear at moderate speeds on the trail. will also gain about an inch or so ground clearance which will keep me off the belly pan a little more than I was this past weekend.
Quick update, the tender springs are well worth the investment... instantly smoothed out the stock lower spring and provided an overall softer combined rate. Essentially I went from having the stock tenders fully compressed (coil bind) and only riding on the lower spring to having a dual rate tender that isnt crushed at ride height as well as the stock lower spring to absorb the big hits.
Right now I have the crossover rings up as high as I can get them just to give the springs full range of motion so they can start relaxing and breaking in. Highly advise this addition to your machine if your stock tender springs are crushed at ride height.
Quick update to my junk, got a cheap multi-function chase bar installed and wired up to the brake and reverse lights this weekend. will definitely be helpful in the dust as well as backing up at night. Heres a link in case anybody wants a cheap chase light versus spending a bucket of money on a real deal one. Amazon.com
