Thing was buried under taxiway for 80 years, then boom . ...... hard to believe it would still work.

"An American World War II-era bomb buried beneath a busy Japanese airport exploded Wednesday, cratering a busy taxiway and forcing the cancellation of dozens of flights, officials said.

According to Land and Transport Ministry officials, there were no aircraft nearby and no injuries were reported when the bomb exploded at Miyazaki Airport in southwestern Japan."

Ex wife's grandfather got shot 13 times on iwo jima, wasn't a dick about it, but made it real clear he wasn't buying toyotas.
My grandpa was a marine at iwo jima also. He and my grandma lived with us when I was younger. In middle school I was part of a japanese exchange program where a student from there came to stay with us for three weeks, and then I went back and stayed with his family for three weeks.

While the exchange student was here, my grandpa had to go and stay at our place in the mountains because he didn't trust himself not to say or do something uh... bad.

:grinpimp:

I never heard of it, assuming it's good stuff?
It has its moments, but depends on your sense of humor.
I liked the 1st season, and then I was done.

I think most comedies get desperate for a laugh and get stupid instead of funny... I didn't find this show to be any different.

It's hilarious!! Definitely check it out. If you don't have a dark sense of humor, or are a Bible thumper, you would not find it very funny.

Void_of_Light I bust out laughing evreytime he's in a scene even if he doesn't say anything. I probably see at least one unironic uncle baby Billy look alike anytime I'm out in public here, probably why it's funny, he's spot on in that role!!

You think over 80 years, it has been dropped from 20k feet, compacted with heavy equipment, had 2 feet of concrete poured on it, run over by thousands of planes, then one day with nothing on top of it ... boom.

Once in a while they still dig one up in the UK or Germany, but I'm not sure I've heard one just going off 80 years later.
