Windshield suggestions?

I’m currently running a Polaris fixed glass windshield that I really like, but after our recent trip to Taylor Park, I’m seriously considering switching to something folding or tip-out. Between the rain, sun, and dust we dealt with almost every day, having a more flexible setup would’ve made a huge difference. While looking around, I noticed a few options similar to the Polaris Ranger 570 front windshield that offer flip-down or tip-out functionality.
I do like the Polaris tip-out glass windshield, but the price is steep, and I’m not sure how well it holds up on rough terrain. I’ve also checked out the Polaris Lexan tip-out and some aftermarket folding windshields, but it’s hard to tell which ones are worth it or if they’ll end up rattling like crazy.
Anyone have a solid recommendation for a folding or tip-out windshield?

I am running a Tusk Fold down glass windshield on my RMAX, had it for 2 years now and its been great. it screws to brackets above the hood when in the down position so it doesnt rattle or bounce. only possible thing i could be unhappy about is the piano hinge in the frame is not completely weatherproof but it still doesnt get water in the cab, just a few drips on the dash. YMMV

I have a yamaha tip out, it was pricey but is nice. My old sxs had a fixed full front windshield and I knew I wanted something flexible. I have some friends that have other aftermarket tip outs and no one has any complaints. I would have liked to have glass but Yamaha does not make a glass tip out and I was told running the upper side windows yamaha brought out the yamaha front windshield would work with it.

What year/model 570 do you have? The Polaris glass tipouts are about as nice as they come but they also don't recommend running them on rough terrain with them open. The plexiglass flip down ones serve the same purpose but will eventually look like **** from washing/wiping them off.

there are a bazillion types of windshields out there

I only run 1/2 when the weather is ****, as long as you are moving everything blows over you

FYI - Super ATV windshields are hit or miss and mostly miss this last few years.

The scratch resistant coating they put on them clouds, I have warrantied them and the replacement did the same thing.

I also have some that were a few years old and in perfect shape.

I would avoid the brand.

Ever since Dorman or whoever their parent company bought SuperATV they get literally everything from China. Before SuperATV made some things in house.
