If it's just a consumer internet line I bet they won't notice. Odds are the interface is gigabit and is bottlenecked by the ISP to about a tenth of that.

shit man, even I got gigabit fiber/cable opions and I live in BFE.

currently I'm on 500/500 fiber because I'm cheap, and do I really need more than 500mbps?

I consider fast and reliable internet to be a necessity.
It's our only connectivity/entertainment expense.
especially now that I'm a "hybrid" worker that needs it to not suck for fucking teams meetings.

I survived on 100 down for a long time with the cable company and their ridiculous pricing.
but the 5mbps up was a real buzzkill when I needed to share a 80gb virtual machine file with someone.

I've no love for frontier as a company, but they're doing the thing at 500/500 for $20 a month less than the cable company 100/5, with no bullshit data caps setup to make you buy the top tier internet level that's $120 a month.

lesser evil as it is.

I've been on 50/12 dsl for 7 years because I refuse to give our cable conglomerate any of my money. and I really don't have a lot of complaints, even with the wife working from home and 2 teenagers. The really annoying thing is the dsl proves out at way higher speeds, but they won't sell it to me.

We finally have a competitor coming in, looks like hopefully this summer, running fiber. I keep checking their dates.

Hanssen's spying peaked at the height of the Cold War, and officials said his activities were at least in part responsible for the deaths of at least three spies overseas. They included a Soviet Army general code-named "Top Hat" who was one of America's best intelligence sources and who was executed in 1986.

Some film came out 40 yrs ago, Grambling's White Tiger. It was about a quarterback who enrolled in a Black college to be play. Bruce Jenner played the character.

Anybody seen it-
