I am responding to the "Who would vote for Michelle. She has no experience?" comment.

I think it's comical argument.

Especially when you consider that the people trying to make it an issue will be clamouring for term limits next thread.

They can do back bends justifying it if it's their candidate, but think of it as an albatross around the neck of their rival.

Biden doesn't know where he is, or that he is about to get the boot. He isn't getting a say in it.

He isn't the official nominee until the convention, and I stand by my statement I made a month ago. The Convention is where he gets his walking papers.

They are going to look pretty fucking stupid letting Mr potato head debate Trump and then swapping him out for someone new. How well will they be able to prop up their candidate in such a short amount of time until election day after the convention. 🤪

Because the press coverage will be a promotion campaign the likes we have never seen, and you couldn't buy for a billion dollars.
24-7 coverage of whoever they pic, and it'll ALL be glowing.

And they will gaslight the shit out of everyone. "We have been saying he is cognitive decline for a year. We were hoping for the best, but we now can no longer continue".
 
And I'll say it again...... Mr potato head isn't going anywhere until he's ready to go. Nobody other than him is making that call because if it were not up to him we all know they would have already taken him out of the running. Dude is literally a walking vegetable and anybody in that party that interacts with him in a regular basis already knows this. Last night's debate wasn't some big revelation to the leaders of the democratic party that ol Joe is brain dead it was just a revelation to the voting public because they have been trying like hell to hide it from us the whole time. You don't do that for someone that you are trying to get rid of..... :homer:

They're not going to alienate what colored votes they still have by replacing a blackish, female VP with another white guy.
 
Witmer would be my guess. They've leaned so hard into identity politics that it would be a pretty hard PR sell for them to bypass a black female VP for a straight white man in Newsom. They seem bound to have to check some identity politics boxes.
 
Big Mike will get the nod. When he is losing in the polls we will hear we have a brave black transgender running for POTUS. All bets are off. That will either vault him in the polls or it will be a disaster of epic proportions.

In a normal election you are correct. But the Dems insisted on having the debate before the convention. Why?
It could be they know how fast he is declining and figured they would give him a shot. It could be that they needed to let their constituents see just how bad he is so he doesn’t get the support at the convention. Now the question is how many of the alternatives have filed the necessary paperwork in all 50 states to legally be on the ballot. And does that even matter in clown world.
 
Why are some of you saying _______ can’t get the votes? Did/will the Ds manipulate the votes or not? If you believe they did, why won’t they do it again, no matter who they run?

I mean she is pushing him hugely to stay in the race. Just as much if not more than he is.
