Dammit stop bringing this up, I am genuinely depressed about Alex passing away.
I knew this sad day would come, it's like a curtain I've passed through to my Old Age.
I'm not sure there's another celebrity passing that will affect me this much. The writers, Alex, the subject matter... there was hardly anything as comfy as Jeopardy. The same after all these years, now it's gone.
It was my Mom and I's show, I guess that's it. It was like an unbroken after-dinner tradition for over 30 years.
Out of all the crazy shit that went down this year, the passing of Alex Trebek will remain my 2020 personal tragedy.
