Not too bad. Can y’all keep the heat in your area?

Thanks

It's been a moderate summer in socal too but, this wave of monsoonal heat isn't cooling down at night. Lasting til Tuesday or so.
108/66 from the link you posted... what do you mean it isn't cooling down at night?

If it hits 108 here #1 the "heat index" is like 124 and #2 it's still going to be 90's at 2am.

Finally some nice temps here, mostly mid-80’s for highs but we haven’t had rain for a month & none in the extended forecast 😖

You'd find me sleeping on the back porch/patio/deck, whatever. F that.

Good luck having an AC service call in this heat work out as planned. Seriously.

530am and it’s down to 84 in the living room. :lmao:

This isn’t the first trip and it’s a whole new system so hopefully it works out. lol

I getcha.

That screenshot is for Sunday and 18 miles inland from the ocean. I live less than 4 miles from the pacific and it's muggy at night right now, just not compared to where you are.

Look at this ;

So, 14 miles away it's 66 pre-dawn and at your house its.... 80? 90?

And 84 in his house at 5am doesn't tell me much... well insulated and partially shaded? Poorly insulated and full sun? My shop is stick built super insulated like a new home and 100 degree previous day 75 morning I can raise the door and it's 88 degrees in there from the previous days heat soak even though it's 70- something. Leave the door up an hour and it'll cool down in there.

Either way yall are a bunch of queers. Except Tom- broken AC is no joke.

:flipoff2:

Well insulated. Full sun from sunrise to sunset. lol

On the literal top of a hill.

I can’t bitch anymore. AC is up and running and now it’s 78 in the house. :smokin:

No, my place is 84ish day and 72ish overnight, currently. That 108/111/66 is at an inland rental some 20 miles from the ocean.

Ultra hot + humid is ghey af. Enjoy. :flipoff2:

Fuck that. I did 35 summers in Phoenix, working outside. This year they've had 57 days over 110* and 102 straight days over 100*.

I run my swimming pool repair biz from 8100' in Eastern AZ now. My first full summer not in the valley. It hit a whopping 74* today. :flipoff2:

It was 98* in Buckeye at 7am this morning.

We've been down in the valley staying with her dad for two days and I'm actually missing our new place in Flag. Holy moly.

108* is the same as -65*- God's way of saying "Move already".

But at least skiing and surfing keeps you cool.

Left work at 1:45 to go play some golf and the truck said it was 109 out when I was pulling up.

Looking forward to this heat going away.

Still would never live in the snow.

I'm so over the heat. We were up here pretty much all last winter, and 200 days in the year before that. I enjoy the cold weather and snow here.

I was at the dump at 11:00 and was 95+.

I sweat a little. Didn’t die.

Right now it’s fucking spectacular outside the shop. Frogs and crickets, and me not trying to knock over a 4’ stick of metal so I get to stay out as long as I can. Maybe 70 and I’m that asshole neighbor still up doing shit. New fish finder in the boat, dual batts on a switch.

Stay under 2500’ between you and me anywhere and you won’t die. It’s been hot as fuck here too for us. Spring was amazing, I have nothing to complain about.
