Whistlin Diesel is gonna hurt some feelers with this one (R32 abuse)

My question is why did he get such a long F150? Was the F150 similar price to the cybertruck? What engine etc? It seems like most F150 4x4 I see have bigger tires stock and are a supercrew configuration which would have helped in some of the tests.

The f150 wasn't gonna fair well no matter what.

A raptor would be much closer configuration regardless of price but the explosives would have still trashed it.

The explosives on the stainless was actually pretty impressive even though it still destroyed the door.

Early in the video, he said that was the F150 work truck, which makes sense.
 
I think that stems from the comments back when the cyber truck was released that a "base f150 is a better truck than the cyber truck"

That was my contention in my brother's case, he had a CT on order to pull a 30'+ travel trailer. I explained how wind drag was going to render that vehicle useless for that purpose (in a state as large as ours) and would make for a excruciating poor RV experience for to range and recharge limitations.

Long story but after he met us in Amarillo for a camping trip he learned I was right. He had rented a 5th wheel so he had his model Y with a ride 1 up bike rack and 2 e-bikes.

That configuration on a 483 mile trip cost him 30% of his range and made his trip take 3 hours longer than he planned.

He bought a f150 power boost the following week he got back.

Not sure I'd fuck with Elon Musk though. He is the head master chief troll of the world and has endless amounts of money to play with and would probably enjoy fucking with WD. :laughing:

My kids convinced me to watch a couple of his vids 2 years ago. At first I thought he was an ignorant ass, but now I'm a big fan. I especially like the triggered reactions he gets when he destroys shit like the Farmall 1206 which is a sacred cow among the red tractor people.

He does a lot of good things, and if you follow his social media outside of just the videos, he gives a lot of solid life advice to young people.

He is also a genius at marketing his brand. I also like that he doesn't over saturate youtube with his videos. The fact that he does like 1 video per month makes people that much more likely to watch vs the other YT fags that do videos every few days

That's another good one. Those guys are entertaining.
Last year our daughter and I went to Haydays and Cboys were there greeting fans. There was a line about 100 yards long from 10am to 4pm of people waiting to get a pic with them. They shook hands, hugged, and took pics with thousands of people that day and were in good moods all day long. My daughter waited about an hour to meet them. Good guys.

Part of the reason the wait was so long the day we saw them is because they were taking the time to talk to everyone that came through instead of just herding them through.

My daughters favorite is the short guy that’s an ace on motorcycles. She told me she was going to bust his balls about being short and stood by him when I took their picture. She looked at him and said “you look taller in your videos”. They all busted out laughing and started razing him about it. :laughing:

They seemed like genuinely good guys.
