What's new

What would cause this?

This is from a windshield leak in a 91 s10. Both sides were gone, cab was sitting on bellhousing.

Looks like a typical tube and sleeve bushing. Not the original donut style. Did they change in 08?
There's a ton of stupid revisions to the E-van radius arm over the course of the 00s.

Passenger side running more in the salty slushy mess on the edge of the road making the spray worse?

It would fuck the mount bracket and radius arm bracket too if that's the case and those look pretty clean compared to the body in that spot.

The 90s broncos always lost the radius arm bushings and body mount right there because of the heat from the engine

It just cooked the rubber till it crumbled

But oddly always just on the passenger side .

Don't know if its been said already but a small heater core leak? A slow leak over extended period will keep the carpet padding wet all the time and cause it to rust out. Well on a chevy anyway.

Yeah but this is a Ford not a Chevy so they're probably running proper coolant with rust inhibitors not straight water. :flipoff2:

No, In northern climates Chevy guy puts green in on top of DEX and fouls the system. Ford owner doesn’t change it at all because “that’s what Henry put in it so it last forever “
