Collie dog named Useless. I don't quite remember it, but family said he would herd me around in the yard to keep me close/out of harms way. He lived until I was 8, buried beside the flower bed. My first shovel blisters acquired that day.

My brother was dating this gal and her mom had an orange cat named Tigger. Called it Tig for short.

They got a second cat (black cat) and asked my brother and his friend what they should call it.

His response, Nig. You'd have Tig & Nig.

Dinner came and the MIL went outside and called out for them.
