What's new

What nest is this?

Thinking hornets or wasps but looks like the termite ones I've seen on TV, never seen a termite nest.

That's cannabis! More noticeable than the bigfoot nest!

That's a regular ol wasp nest. Throw rocks, light it on fire, soak it in brake clean.

Is that not what you guys mean when you talk about wasp nests?!
Those are regular wasps, and we have ground wasps, which are the same, just in the ground. Even the ones that are in walls build their nests out of that papery stuff. Dig up a ground wasp nest and it's full of grey stuff too.

The shop vac thingy sound like a lot of fun. Someone on youtube uses dry ice on yellow jackets.
My goto is a cheep bug zapper with the screen removed. Yelllow jackets, wasps and hornets try to kill the zapper. It is nothing but snap crackle and pop for a couple of hours of fun. :smokin::smokin::smokin::smokin:

I've only shot slugs so far. Have an odd amount of bird guns I've won but haven't gotten into it because I have hobby impulse problems
WTF? :lmao:

Do you hate money or some shit? Normal people shoot hundreds of target/bird loads for every round of everything else.

The more branches it has through it, the more it’s worth.
That's stupid. It's way easier to find ones with a million branches because it was built in a shrub than a "textbook perfect" one that's is hanging off one branch.

how do you even ship that
No fucking idea. I give them away on CL when I have them.

Paper wasp...and if you hit it already without much happening, they may have abandoned it already.

Unfortunately for us.

Wait till winter and save the paper nest. Cut off the section of the branch it's attached to.

Everyone wondering why, same reason you hang deere heads on the wall. Cool nerdy nature stuff

I have one on a transformer that feeds my house. I need to tread lightly on how I take care of it. Debating on some snake rounds....

soap water is gentler than birdshot

oh wait
fuck I dunno man

Maybe sandblast sand in a shotshell? the wad would still probably be enough to tear wires though

Yes, but you have to be 1000x more delicate while cutting all of those branches off and shipping. Supposedly they don't rot.

Some people don't understand why I would want to put a giant connecting rod and flywheel as a mailbox either.

Tennis ball out of said potato gun.
I've never gotten around to making a tennis ball barrel, only ever used a 1-1/2" diameter barrel.

In that barrel, a foam golf ball is a tight fit & they haul ass :smokin:

Doesn't have shit for impact vs. a chunk of tater, but enough to obliterate a paper nest.
