What's new

What is it with Boomers and talking loudly in movie theatres?

An adult that would rather play online video games on a friday night instead of going out to a bar - lazy in their minds. Anyone that wants to work from home and can do all of their work on a computer - lazy. Wanting to actually take vacations instead of always working 100 hours a week - lazy.
Apparently I identify as a boomer.

Don't care about bars but nintendo games are for children.
100 hours... that's a part time job

To be fair to boomers, the world has changed a lot since they were kids and a lot of them have a difficult time understanding it or adapting to it.
Bull fucking shit. Their parents lived through way more change. Other than not at all getting computers they really didn't have a problem. But they also raised their boomers so they can't have been all that good.

Boomers complaining about today's adults cracks me up. They're the ones who raised them.

When boomers complain about the current youth.... it's their kids who are raising that "youth"

A long time ago I got the best advice I could ever get from a cranky old lesbian lady with zero social skills who worked in IT. I was at work bitching about my then girlfriend and she yelled from over her cubicle wall:
"Don't complain about the girl you chose to be with! It just makes you sound like a looser who can't do any better. Date her and shut up or break up with her."

Boomers complaining about generations that came after them sound a lot like that.

See there you go again. I wasn't the one complaining about other generations, don't believe I ever did that and I can almost guarantee I haven't done it on line, but sure it's the boomers....:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I pretty much "as a boomer" don't blame others for my problems....

Since you're the only boomer alive, you make a very valid point. :flipoff2:

Depends where they grew up at. Keep in mind, in the midwest there are large rural farm areas that didn't have electricity until the 1940's -1950's. My dad graduated high school in 1964. When he was in his early teens they still milked cows by hand with kerosene lamps for light and used outhouses. That wasn't uncommon in the area. At that time milk was still being transported by cans and cooled in spring water.

City boomers are a different story, they lived an entirely different childhood.
