Dang man glad you are still with us to type all that. Hope the rest of the visit gets you back to where you want to be.
I've had it twice, very healthy 42 yo, pretty much my whole group has tested positive twice. About a year apart. Feeling sick again after a Jamaica trip, hoping this isn't my turn for a bad one.Wait, you got it more than once? The only people I know that have, also have cancer and have no immune system.

I was able to breathe, but barely. My O2 saturation would not rise above 75%, though, and that was with a BIPAP on the maximum safe setting. Any higher would have damaged or ruptured my lungs. Were you unable to breathe when they wanted to put you on a vent? I find it strange that you're having a conversation about it with the doc. I figured those patients had already blacked out from low O2.
I have heard that people that got a really light case of Delta can get it again. But Omi is the end of the road. HMMMMy sons friends family have had it 3 times, the wife works at a school, and the daughter is in grade school. All young and healthy, I’m guessing the school has a lot of it
Why would they not put you on O2 if you were that low? A cpap will not fix that. WTF? Anything below 88 or so and I will randomly blackout if I try and walk around. 75 is nuts.I was able to breathe, but barely. It wasn't technically a cpap, but it was very similar. It was forcing oxygen in every time I would breathe in, and allowing me to breathe out naturally. Why would they not put you on O2 if you were that low? A cpap will not fix that. WTF? Unfortunately, no.Did you get to see the hot nurses naked and have wet dreams for 38 days?
WOW. So you are one strong and resilient MF. This is seriously how they have been killing people with the vid. Glad you make it. I wish that the doc would learn and do better. And not follow protocol that does not work.It wasn't technically a cpap, but it was very similar. It was forcing oxygen in every time I would breathe in, and allowing me to breathe out naturally.
I believe it is my overly active workaholic lifestyle that saved me more than anything. I don't quit, and I will do anything that I put my mind to. I am one stubborn SOB. I walked into the ER at 6-5, 248. I now only weigh 191 lb.WOW. So you are one strong and resilient MF. This is seriously how they have been killing people with the vid. Glad you make it. Curious how do you test your blood 02? I have a fancy watch that does but I don’t really trust it. I’m often around 2 miles above sea level and almost never below 8,000’ so I see readings in 82-98% daily and don’t really feel any difference. Why would they not put you on O2 if you were that low? damn. Did your blood pressure go down? I remember it was pretty high, a few people speculated you kicked the bucket during the absence.I believe it is my overly active workaholic lifestyle that saved me more than anything. No, that's been a hindrance in my recovery. Without medications, my blood pressure is still through the roof. With the amount of medications it takes to put me at a normal blood pressure, it tanks every time I sit up or stand up and I get dizzy and pass out. We are finding a happy medium between moderately high blood pressure in the 140s over 90s that is not ideal, but allows me to do my physical therapy.damn. Did your blood pressure go down? As stated in the original story, the nurses in my dream were all medics that I had served with in Iraq and Germany. When you first woke up did you check if your nurses and doc were the same as in your dream?
I figure that's what kept me going after my recent stay in the hospital, I just won't quit.I believe it is my overly active workaholic lifestyle that saved me more than anything.
