I get an hour unpaid lunch.
On nice days i run to a local pond and fish.
On crappy days i take a nap in my truck.

Can't stand being inside the building all day.
 
I rarely take a lunch break per se. I just kind of meander through. Sometimes I will step away from the computer though. I need to make more time to walk away from my home office though.
 
When I worked. It was either lunch from my box or the local mex place. Half hour break. Most times blow it off and leave half hour early.
 
Go downstairs, eat something, watch a little of the Pat Mcafee live stream. Or maybe a quick nap or a shower.
 
1hr paid lunch.

I'm around people all day, so I usually take the time to be quietly alone for a spell.

When I worked 2 minutes from my house I would go home. At first I thought it was cool, but the truth is it kind of sucked going home and knowing you had to go back to work in less than an hour.

Job now is 20 minuets from home so I just eat lunch in my car and listen to AM radio.
 
60 minute lunch.

Sit in my car and eat lunch.

Take a nap.

Kill time on my phone.

Could go sit in the break room, but car is more comfy, and don’t have to listen to stupid conversations.

Monday : 3 mile run
Tuesday : Yoga
Wednesday : Hang out with buddies from another dept
Thursday : Reoccurring meeting with Ze Germans during lunch time.
Friday : Gym
 
Technically 1 hour lunch. I can kinda do wtf I want though.

Normally use the time to run errands or grocery shop if I need to. Otherwise depends on my workload. Either scarf food and keep working or eat and shoot the shit with coworkers or surf IBB.
 
I am usually fasting so I work.
 
If I'm hungry, I eat, see "fattest you've been on public roads" thread.

If I'm not, I nap in the truck.
 
Uh, what's a lunch break? Work from home still and I'll just randomly stop work if I'm hungry or want to take a walk or do whatever else...I still put in my hours, but screw the idea of fixed breaks.
 
Work from home. I usually hop on my air bike for 20-40 mins depending on my motivation, then grab a shower. Heat up some leftovers or a protein shake run through the ninja creami for eats.
 
At sea? Eat lunch as fast as possible and go back to work.

When the ship is in port, I'm usually done with work and I go home at lunchtime.

I eat lunch on my lunch hour. (I’m not paid hourly) I miss dinner maybe half the week but never lunch.
 
I could always just eat whenever at my desk while working, so my 'lunch hour' was usually later (liked to take it later in the day once all the fires were under control) and was a time to just go fuck off. Sometimes it was hangin out in the nearby park, sometimes it was a beer or two, but never was it actually 'lunch'. I'd usually pick something up while out but that would definitely be eaten when I was back at my desk and on the clock again.
 
I get an hour at the new job. I spend about 20 minutes of that eating and the other 40 playing on my phone and watching everyone else work on the warehouse floor.

I take my hr lunch two hours before I leave. So when i clock back in i have exactly 1 hr left then im gone

FAIL!

As you know, lunch here is 1 hour mandatory. I decline 99% of meeting invites that occur during lunch hour. If I HAVE to attend, then I will either go to the gym before or after the lunch hour meeting. I am NOT going to miss my gym time.

work from home (built a small office away from the house)
I get 1 hour
today spent 45min of it on the wood splitter
normally do some type of chore around the house.

makes going back to work more fun :laughing:
