What Do We Think This Weighs?

The mill is 2-3000. The lathe looks slightly bigger than mine and it’s just over 6000. I will say mine looks like more cast stuff and less sheet metal, so who knows?

Sheet metal:lmao:

The only sheet type stuff on that machine are the covers over the scales for the DRO.

Everything on that machine is cast.

The mill is coming in at a ton according to the engine hoist.

The lathe is coming in at fuck you I don't wanna go.

I have picked up a lot of stoopid shit with my forklift and it has never cared.

It cared about the lathe:laughing:

It'sall off to the scales in the morning.

Ok, then it’s heavy. The flat areas had me fooled. Mine has cast curved stuff everywhere.

I'll be around some very large equipment tomorrow while I'm weighing it.

I'll probably weigh it all and then pull the lathe off and get a weight...Might do the mill as well.

Where's the rigging pics!

Nothing spectacular in the rigging department.

I wanted to stay away from the bed on the lathe.

The mill is a PIA because you can't just grab it anywhere...I might do a couple of straps from the top down to the sides after it's all tarped up.

That bridgeport could pretty easily flip backward tied down like that.

If you wanna hold shit down the strap needs to run vertical.

Yea. I always tie down off the ram.

Same with the lathe, needs to be secured from higher up.

So the lathe came in at 6340.

The whole load came in at 14,040...33,540 if you count the truck and trailer weight

I'm currently regrouping.

I'm thinking of just running the lathe and the mill out on my small trailer.

10,000 capacity trailer.

The little trailer has to get out there anyways so I would just come back without a trailer this time and load out the big trailer accordingly.
