What Are you Drinking Right Now: A Picture Thread

My Dominican friend stopped by with gifts.

The Mamajuana looks interesting.

Last night, first time I had this beer.
Not a beer drinker anymore, mostly whiskey these days.

I liked it.

Buffalo Trace mint julep.

I’ve been buying nugget ice at Sonic which is a major pain in the ass because the nearest one is about 40-45 minutes away, and they’ll only sell two bags at a time. Then I found Chic Fil A. They’ll sell me as much as I want, but still about 30 minutes away. Most of it goes to waste anyways because it eventually turns to a solid chunk in the chest freezer.

I’ve been wanting a countertop nugget ice maker ever since I hear about them. The GE Opal has mixed reviews, and the price was a bit high in my opinion because of that. Saw the Frigidaire Gallery counter top nugget ice maker at Sam’s last weekend. At $200 and most the reviews complaining about how loud it was, it was easily worth the risk.

I’ve had it a week now and absolutely love it! It is, in fact, loud as fuck, but doesn’t bother us. With the kids gone now, the kitchen is only used for cooking only. The ice is awesome and it makes it fast. My issue is it’s 1/2” too tall to fit on my counter under the cabinets, but it looks like the GE is the exact same height.
