Girlfriend and I have been taking a hard look at one of these setups to boost our stained glass production. It seems like a great way to make repeatable and precise cuts which would save tons of cutting and grinding time. They are 10K and I think designed by a couple of college kids and somewhat new on the market. Just wondering what the upkeep and serviceability of one of these things would be. Anyone here work with one of them?

Early reviews I saw on them weren't exactly stellar. And I think the operating costs are astronomical.

That low power machine is gonna cost you $15-30 each part you cut in consumables.

Notice how their example is 1/8 glass not 1/4 like most stained glass.

Another note if you cut glass the waste sand becomes hazardous waste because of the lead in the stained glass. My buddy who owns the big waterjets stay away from glass just for that reason. Huge costs to dispose of the waste garnet.
