Water flow sensor

Anyone use something like this to track water usage/flow?

There were a number of times I left the sink running or toilet got stuck and I couldn't hear it.

Having a gauge or something to alert me of water running would be fanfuckintastic. Alerting me of water leaks or pipe failures would be a plus.

I am on a well if it matters.

Tie a light/buzzer/etc into the pressure switch. Anytime the well pump comes on you will know.

Or like my house every time the pump kicks on it rattles the pipes a bit. There have been many nights to me waking up and going of fuck I left the sprinkler on in the garden.

You need more bracing on the pipes or not seems like you have a system.

Not really a loose pipe rattle more of a low frequency hum of the pump running/ water moving. It’s almost perfect.
