Washington magazine ban

it's almost like states are free to enact their own laws regarding firearms....
the same states which agreed to the foundational charter of the United States Constitution when they elected membership, clearly agreeing to not infringe on private ownership of arms, fire inclusive?

Yeah, fuck those states and their supposed freedom to enact laws. :flipoff2: If they want to do this kind of stuff, they should be required to leave the United States first.

did I say I agreed with it?

states can enact whatever laws they want, which may or may not be constitutional, but that's a matter for the courts to figure out.

that's also in the constitution

sure, and people are free to do whatever they want, which may or may not be legal, but that's a matter for the courts to figure out.

that's also in the god given right of life and has fuckall to do with any document
:flipoff2:

moral of the story, the state is a corrupt criminal enterprise and attempting to find logic, reasoning, or legal basis for their actions is a fools errand.

edit: and also the state of washington has a legal definition for assault rifle which is based on semi-autos....that's also the point of the story.

can't stop the signal.
Knowing almost nothing about 3d printers what kind of filament would this need? I see they have a bunch of stuff.

PLA+ is what most of the designs are based on.
it's nothing special and easy to print.
filament requirements and base slicer settings are usually in the attached readme.

yes, which is why I posted what I did, because PAE seems to think that states can't enact a law regarding the definition of a firearm all on their own, like they have to follow federal guidelines or some shit.

in case you missed it I agreed with you champ, PAE is an idiot.

Any of the "PLA Pro" or PLA+ stuff will work. The files are available here without DEFCAD's paywall. Defcad does a lot of things that trigger the "This is an ATF honeypot" alarm.

you know they had to put it behind something because of the court cases right?

they got accused of helping terrorists and violating ITAR by the DOD.

Putting it behind something is fine, requiring all my personal info including a photo ID, SSN and/or an FFL is not. There is little to nothing you can get there that you can't find anonymously elsewhere for free.

isn't the whole point of desktop manufacturing to build your own stuff? just draw it on the computer :flipoff2:

they had to prove that people outside the country weren't downloading it.

because terrorists were gonna download a liberator file or some shit according to the DOD after the ATF took their swing and missed.

I've never created an account either for the obvious reasons, but when it first dropped they didn't require any of that sort of thing, then it got shut down for a time and came back with the user requirements during the court cases or somewhere along those lines.

here's what you got in 2013:

just some download links.

edit:
I guess I should have been clear that was just the first link I clicked to copy and paste, and there are a bunch of places to get the files without giving up personal information.
that's my bad.
