War on cash coin shortage

I only briefly scanned here, whats the tin foil hat thoughts on this?
Is there tracking devices in the coins?

Interesting times. I was reading an article yeaterday from a former fed chief arguing that the .gov needs to allow the fed to create a free bank account held at the fed for each citizen as part of the next stimulus Free of charge, so that citizens can get direct cash stimulus as needed and to serve the "underbanked", whatever the hell that means. I hate banks as much as anyone, but at least I have the chance of sueing them if they fuck something up, try that with the quasi public private shadow agency known as the fed. I just dont understand why the government needs to be the "solution" to everything!! I mean I do, but c'mon this is bullshit stupid thinking!!

2020 is truely a simulation, can I wake up please and go back to the late 90s?

The local Safeway grocery store has a sign that they don't sell rolled up coins. Good thing I moved out of the apartment, that's where I always bought quarters.

I haven't had any issue buying with cash anywhere around here otherwise. I am sitting on a whole lot of change though, I always used the quarters to do laundry and the ex would use the nickels and dimes to buy cigarettes. Now they just sit accumulating.
