Velvor opens 1st store in US

I am actually very curious to how their retail team set their stores up. Since Vevor has more than tools. I wonder if it will loo like a Discount store type of deal like a Marshalls or something else.

No way they could have their full catalog in a retail store...especially in AK. Up there, I could see them doing it as primarily a tool store...clone of HF. OP needs to get his shit together and stop in so we can get an actual report.

Dunno, never heard of Marshalls. It like Mardens?

Marshalls is mainly discounted or overstocked clothing. So yes like Mardens.

AKNate, we need the scoop! Seeing that you are the 1st one here to have a store.

Their fuel cans are crap. I had one of these less than six months in the carrier on my trail rig. It expanded and contracted more than any other gas can I've ever had. It developed creases in the sides, then cracked.

I didn't have a chance to go, it's only open banker's hours, so was at work.

All of the import jerry cans are garbage. Or, I should say, all the new asian imports are garbage. Legit suplus NATO cans or Wavians are about the only good ones out there. I have 6 Swiss ones that I bought from Deutsche Optik 15+ years ago and they're still kicking ass.

They actually have new legit Polish ones now for $50/apiece if you buy the 4 pack.

I’m not impressed with you Americans buying so much crap because it’s cheap.

Commie hypocrites

How do people feel about the electric demo saws? 3500w works out to 30A

Why, gonna change out for a carbide blade and hack a few subis together as a stretch lesbo?

Yes but actually no.

My HF worm gear saw is marginal for concrete and for skid steer tracks and really struggles in granite. While it still runs well I'm definitely gonna kill it if I keep this up and I have a project involving a bunch of granite cutting coming up.

So I'm thinking rather than spend $200+ on a "nice" brand of worm gear circular saw I should spend the same money on something that's of a crappy brand but also an entire categorical upgrade.

It's not so much a question of chinesium vs not chinesium, it's more a question of gas vs electric.

Well, if the motor specs are accurate I don't think you'll run outta power. And chineseum electric motors > chineseum gas motors so there's that.
