All the Vegas events calendars are events we don't care about.
Is there a event calendar with car shows, offroad events, shit like that?
On my list is Carroll Shelby museum, Welder up museum, but that's a short list for 3 days.
We're going to a Cirque show, but that will be evening.
Looking for kid friendly suggestions.

Edit: Should have specified, been to the GC and Dam. Kids are pre-teen and teen.

Dinner at Carmines in the Caesar Forums if it’s still there.

Helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon
Shelby is fun but short

The Dam tour at Hoover Dam if its still a thing

Day trip to Vally of Fire. (Not a place to be lugging a kid on your back or pushing a stroller). Do the "Big" dam tour and get there early. The skybridge over the Grand Canyon is a trap! :smokin:

Neon Museum, Valley of Fire (already mentioned) Red Rocks was scenic and fun to hike around (as I recall there's a short "jeep" trail you can take out of Red Rocks Canyon that makes a little loop) Area 15 (omega mart) was pretty cool if you're into that sort of thing.

Pinball museum is always fun.

Tournament of kings was fun if y’all are into it.

Bunch of options here with go karts and atvs

In Vegas-- as said Shellby and Neon museums, Full Auto shooting, Freemont street zip line. Out of Vegas- Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire, Red Rock, Grand Canyon.

I like just looking at the buildings and all the motifs. The Venetian has a canal and canal boats inside. The Parisian has the Eiffel tower going right through the building. Each hotel has something to look at.

For a quick bite, there's a place called "Off the Strip" on the Linq promenade. It's got a burger called the MOAB burger... which I know stands for Mother of all burgers prolly, but ya know... Beside it being really good, it's called the MOAB burger.

If you have a car, get yourself some breakfast at the Omelet House Contact Us – The Original Omelet House Do it on a day before you're out hiking and probably won't have time for lunch. It's legit.

Primal steakhouse is one of our other Go-to's for dinner.

If you do want to go full auto shooting go to Battlefield Vegas. Ask for Gabe. Tell him I sent you.

He will give you a tour of the place and let you finger fuck the weapons. They have a massive collection in there.
You will come out with "stinky fingers" oh yeah!:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I loved the Atomic Testing Museum when I was there in `19. I could have stayed all day nerding out. My wife was done with it in about 20 minutes.

There is a show at the mgm called something like “kaw”. If you are a car guy , it has no cars, but the stage is a machanical master piece. The show and music is good too. You don’t need good seats. (They are all good)

I did go to a car/truck museum that was pretty good. Can’t remember the name. You can stop in at the “counting cars” place, but it’s not really much.

We were there back in June. We stayed at the Venetian, took uber everywhere.

Our oldest wanted to check out a place called Omega Mart. Mrs and the youngest weren't interested. It was pretty cool, kind of like a modern art exhibit.

The Venetian has a tattoo studio :grinpimp:

Not a show or anything, but a nice place to spend some time with family is Silverton, big Bass Pro shop, aquarium, various reastaurans and a little quieter than on the strip. They have shuttles as well, or at least they had pre covid when I was there last time.

Take a walk on the strip at night and play "Call Girl Bingo" with the kids. Mexicans will be handing out business cards; see who gets the most unique. (sort of creepy). :smokin::smokin::smokin:

We're trying to decide between O and Ka.
Jewels and I aren't gamblers, but we've been to Vegas several times for fun and/or conferences. We've been to a few Cirque shows, all good, some better than others.

I'm sure O is good, Ka is AWESOME. I watched a Modern Marvels or maybe Discovery Channel show about the Ka stage years ago. Seeing it in person was worth it. Really fun show and the stage itself is a character.

Michael Jackson One was good too. It kind of made me an MJ fan. I knew a lot of his songs just from general pop culture before hand, but that was a really entertaining show. They had a hologram of MJ perform Man in the Mirror, and it was super realistic.

Beatles LOVE was a lot of fun, it's almost "in the round" everything happening down in the middle of a circle, and they bring in some wild contraptions for their acrobatics. Music is pretty decent too.

Mystere was my least favorite, talented acrobats, but it was just weird. Story follows a grown ass man in a diaper pretending he's a baby, I found it off putting. We had front row mid level seats, I almost punched an acrobat, they shot out of the dark and rushed into my bubble out of my peripheral, there was suddenly someone in my face from out of the dark. My fight or flight made a fist, and I had my arm back and mid windup before I realized what was going on. I guarantee someone has been punched at that show before.

Absinthe was good, not something to take the kids to though. Don't get front row seat or aisle seat unless you're okay participating in the act. Acrobatics are on par with Cirque, but it's much more burlesque than theater.

If Bodies is still there, it was pretty cool. Depending on how well your kids would handle that kind of stuff. It's educational, and really interesting, but still a little Macabre to see plasticized cadavers disassembled and in all kinds of poses.

NY NY has a pretty big arcade in it and a roller coaster.

We enjoyed the Atomic Testing Museum, but teens might get bored.

The floral arrangements in the lobby of The Bellagio are worth checking out, and it's free.

Fountain in front of The Bellagio of course, we like to get reservations at Mon Ami Gabi on the patio, AMAZING food, great service, fun car and people watching, and a good view of The Bellagio fountains.

Blue Man Group is fun for all. They hand out ponchos at the door if your seats in the splash zone, but if you're a few rows back you should be safe. I'm sure teenagers would love Blue Man.

I usually like Penn & Teller, but I fell asleep at their show.

I thought Mandalay Bay's aquarium was over rated, but maybe I'm a aquarium snob.

The Rat Pack is Back was fun if you're into big band music. None of the actors look anything like the characters they're portraying, but they had the sounds and manerisims down. Small theater in Tuscany, we did the dinner and a show combo, had a good time, but Jewels and I were easily the youngest people in the audience.

I wish the Auto Collection at the Linq was still there. That was an awesome car collection.

All of the casinos/resorts have some kind of exhibit and they change from time to time. We saw Bodies in the Luxor but it may be something else now.
