What's new

UPS Human?

CVS just rolled this out. No way to actually talk to the pharmacy.

They've had it for years. The automated system that doesn't have a path to talk to a human unless you sound really pissed off so just say fuck a bunch.

You think talking to a human is going to help these days?!?

This was my experience

Their rates sure went nuts.

Went to order that BD grid heater blot kit for my 08 Dodge Cummins shipping crate.

Said free shipping but then wanted $97 shipping
Got ahold of the outfit as i figured either it's a website error or im wilding underestimating the size and weight of this thing.
It's a 3lb box, 26" long, 2" tall, 8" wide and it's the UPS rate.
Looked it up and they weren't bullshitting.
Course unwilling to use USPS for under 1/4 of the cost.

Shipping to L48 address costs them $15-20 UPS, so asked them to at least cover that "free shipping" then. Seemed fair to me

I'd have better luck having Anna Kournikova feed me sandwiches in a romantic manner.

So shipped to Maine for free and my Mom will mail it to me for $26.

I can see their reluctance to use the USPS. Their performance has been shit for the last year after the big reorganization. If I mail something across town it goes to Cleveland and then just disappears there for a week before it comes back to the local post office. Then they tend to sit on it for 2 days before it gets delivered.

Same here.

I've had more issues with the UPS losing stuff.

Couple of the UPS drivers are retarded I think.
This spring my dooryard was a mud bog. Like need 4wd and had to pull shit out with the excavator bad.
I put a deck box near the road at my address sign... "Muddy yard, put packages here"

Retard tried to baja his box truck to the front door instead, 300+ ft of slop. Gets completely stuck all crossed up, about hit my car and truck doing some WOT "rock it BARB" mud and rocks flying all over my stuff.

Blocking me in now and not only won't let me pull it out, but was an ass saying he's tired of delivering to the shit houses, poors, etc.
About lost my temper over that one.

Another tried to say I let my dog out to attack him.

Dog was already outside laying in the sun and ran up to the truck to say hi. He loves people.
If you can't figure out between a "hi...gimme pets and treats" dog or a "ill rip your fucking face off" park that shit brown van and hop on the short bus.

The guy now is a ginger with a full on Australian accent. Like Crocodile Dundee. Yet to figure out if he's screwing with me or what 🤣
