Uni-Punch Frames - Because Drilling Holes Sucks

Not a strippet, but have been trying to buy an Amada turret punch press from a friend.
I dunno what I'm looking at so they might be junk but punch presses seem to come up decently regularly for what doesn't seem like terrible prices on the MA/RI/CT craigslists.

When I had my engineering internship the place I worked for had a strippet in the r and d lab. I loved that thing. A good assortment of punches and that thing could make some sweet parts really quickly. The best thing about it was the back gauge. Once you set the fingers up you could blast a hole pattern or a certain shape out super quick.

They seem to only bring like 3-4000$ now with all the punches and dies.

The Roper Whitney is a decent small punch press. Any press is better than drilling holes.

Fuck punches. A building full of Strippets is one of my versions of hell. Weidmans and Amadas too.

Coming in Monday morning hung over listening to those sucked more than usual.

I've got a handful of Unipunch frames that I need to dig out and sell here soon. Majority are the smaller 1-1/2A and AH frames but I can probably scrounge up a few random size punches as well to send with them. I bought 1300 lbs of misc stuff from a building getting gutted where I picked up an Acorn table from around this time last year. Some of the tooling is crashed and just HSS scrap, but some is brand new. I'll start pulling it out and see who needs some when its ready.
