Ultrasonic Parts Washer

I don't usually put a lid on, maybe that helps? Have not had one blow up yet. I do have one I generally use for small parts tho.
 
As far as the glass complaint I can confirm that they can and will randomly break glass. I stopped cleaning my bongs with it because of it.
 
I’ve used gas, diesel, purple power, it’s depends what I’m cleaning.
The first time I did a carb in tank I used lacquer thinner, I got a 100’ extension cord, set it up and plugged it in thinking it could turn into the 4th of July. LMMFAO
It worked really good and nothing burned. Lol
 
Great thread. I have always wanted one of these, seems like a great item to tell family about during the holidays.

EDIT: Seems like plastic jars/containers would work great since some glass jars brake in these..

They're slightly less effective because of their lower density; therefore the energy waves aren't transferred through quite as strong so the cleaning capacity is a little reduced. This is in my experience, and have discussed with others in this regard too. Also, the plastic containers often need to be weighed down if the contents are <1 SG.
 
I have had glass in mine for about a week, didn't break. But it sure sounded like it wanted to when you put it in there
(little disappointed it didn't)
 
Guess I jinxed my self.
