Charlie Daniel's Band-Long Haired Country Boy right now.

Been jamming a lot of odd, unrelated stuff lately. Billy Strings, Tyler Childers, Orange Goblin, and Slayer.
 
I am still fucking old school... Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eric Clapton, Scorpions, Guns and Roses, Zeplin, Pink Floyd ....And some good shit kicking country for shits and giggles.
 


This whole album fucking rules. Probably listened through it a dozen times in the last two weeks.
 
I think I could hang out and drink with these guys. They all seem really cool. They are 40 year old something guys in a PNW Stoner Rock band. Saw an interview with the rhythm guitarist, and he is nothing like I imagined....or nothing like what he actually looks like. LOL! Dude is way down to earth. They have some pretty funny music videos, but this song is the best.

There are about 5 million youtube downloaders and about 5 of them work. They even let you download it directly as mp3.
 
huh, 5/5M? sounds like safer odds than kazaa and limewire ever were :laughing:

streaming has made it impossible for old people to consume "new" music. nobody wants to put out physical media or sell downloads (fuck apple) these days :confused:

I was thinking the same thing...

Listen, I love Sabbath as much as the next guy, but if you jam enough Church of Misery you'll hear a difference. Plus, a bad ass riff is a bad ass riff...doesn't matter who influenced it. If you split enough hairs, you'll see most bands sound exactly like all the others before them.
