closest thing to a normal person them dems have put forward in a while.
I imagine for the same reason many run... to bring her brand of vodka to the White House. Aside of her 2A stance, she's basically a Libertarian (as mentioned above). And with today's move, she is definitely smarter than most Dem's or Repub's Representatives on the single issue of wanting to repeal the PA. Only hing I didn't like was that there is no clause to redact and destroy any and ALL information collected to date.

Here's some "food for thought". Hypothetical 2024 election....................................... Tulsi Gabbard v Nikki Haley. Who would you vote for and why.
They didn't put her forward. They buried her.
She wants reparations, free college, college debt forgiveness, eliminate the electoral college, shut down all nuke power plants, AWB, medicare for all, etc. She has positions I support, but electing her in hopes there is a fair tradeoff for these is a non-starter. No way in hell would I vote for her. Not normal.
Is this a real question?
Answer one question first. Am I supposed to commit intellectual suicide before I answer?
Haley, hands down. She aligns closest to my way of thinking. She is just as logical as her opponent, but has obviously finished her thought process to a more sensible conclusion.
It's not a "trick question" at all. I just saw in this thread numerous people having nice things to say about Tulsi so I asked a question.
- I support our Second Amendment rights. (Jun 2019)
- Ban assault weapons; require universal background checks. (Jan 2019)
- Advocate for sensible gun control. (Nov 2016)
- Eliminate the Electoral College. (Jul 2019)
- Mandate paper ballots. (Jul 2019)
- No photo IDs to vote; they suppress the vote. (Jul 2017)
- Establish "My Voice Voucher" small campaign contributions. (Feb 2014)
- Public financing of federal campaigns by voter vouchers. (Jan 2017)
- Statehood for the District of Columbia. (Apr 2018)
- Automatic voter registration for all citizens. (Mar 2015)
Voters buried her. It's called a primary election. It's how Trump got started. PBB buried Narrock. signed, Nuttsack swinger

The dems wouldn't have had to cheat on the election if they would have nominated Tulsi. I would have seriously listened to her if she was the candidate, and she may have even convinced me to vote for her. I am just waiting for her to wake up and realize that she has way too much sense to have a "D" by her name.
You don't understand how campaign finance works, do you? Hint: the parties largely control it. Her own party drummed up bullshit Russia allegations about her. They don't want anyone who isn't a pure party puppet going anywhere.
That's true but it does not mean funded candidates always win. Trump took off after the first debate as soon as he opened his mouth and it was on display to compare with all the hashed bullshit the other candidates spewed out. He never had any Republican funding whatsoever in the primaries. Tulsi lost big in the first primaries before any campaign distortion by the democrat party were mobilized. It would be foolish to deny the importance of party support but it is by no means a guarantee of victory. I never heard a single word of Russian allegations on Tulsi until this thread. Mostly because I was paying attention to the political upheaval created by the political maverick, Donald Trump. A better discussion would be why didn't Bernie sanders win ? He simply got out vote by his parties voters.
Trump went out where no one has gone in a long long time. He was beyond the control of his party. Sanders, same. Tulsi was not. Make sense ??
I'd prefer she stay and lead the democrats in the right direction. We need better democrats. That's the only way we'll get out of the swamp. The repubs have had no competition and are boarder line unless without a healthy Democrat party. Now without Trump they are already folding back down into the swamp.

From {gary} link on Tulsi -
There ya go, her position on some shit. She flicks one little tease out there and the iBB go all giggly.
Ya wanna see how she would ban assault weapons ??

The rest of the world don't care what you think. Tulsi thinks through issues , shows strength, she's smart, and she has integrity. Something we should all appreciate. We don't need someone who panders to to what "people think". That's a bullshit partisan philosophy that needs to die.
On another note If, If the parties would just let us independents vote in the primaries and stop the rigging BS that might fix this shit.
I'm willing to bet most don't give a fuck about how you think. You're just another arrogant prick who projects that trait of yourself onto others. I speak my mind and could give a fuck less what you and your ilk think.
She's antigun and has a lot of other pretty left beliefs, but she was still way better and way more mainstream than any of the other nimrods they ran.
She would have beat Trump handily without the steal.
