If you've dealt with kids over the past 20 years, you might realize that the "snitch culture" has been a part of society for a long time... the ability for some of these asshat children to dime on their friends and families is unreal. Especially considering they are generally hypocrites. When their parents, teachers, and role models are also hypocrites and snitches, it's not surprising to see it going this way. As far as elected officials and voting, what more can we do? We vote for who we think is best, then they change once they're in office... how the fuck do you combat that?

If people kill whoever they don't like they're be no people left. Think about that for a bit. You're correct in saying that's not the answer.

By "us" I mean the entire population, or "masses" as you say. People just go along with the bullshit. I agree the average person can't really effect change. And those that can are vastly outnumbered by the sheeple dutifully complying.

i hope you're right. its when they arent around you and are around other offspring of people who have mental illnesses they want to project on their kids, that things will get dicey.

i wish you luck, as the dad of a 4.5 yo girl and 11 month old boy, i think ive got a LONG road ahead. mainly my road is going to roll through various school admin offices giving them the what-for about whatever liberal agenda they want to push from week to week.

i wish you luck, as the dad of a 4.5 yo girl and 11 month old boy, i think ive got a LONG road ahead. mainly my road is going to roll through various school admin offices giving them the what-for about whatever liberal agenda they want to push from week to week.

It may also be a geographical thing too. Most people here hunt, shoot, wheel, fish, camp, etc. The middle school area has "Hunter's Corner". You get your picture there during hunter season, instant badass from what I was told. All the kids ride snowmobiles, turn wrenches, etc. With a shop going up, all the acreage behind me, and the few boats on the water, I'm hoping I get my kiddo linked into the whole outdoors thing. He's even got a lifetime hunting and fishing license. I know there's no real helping kiddo fight peer pressure, but I feel like I have a leg up on kid's growing up in more urban areas.
