Omgosh!!!! Tech in CC!!!!!
:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Omgosh….. someone actually doing Heep stuff that partake in CC!!!!!
:lmao::lmao::lmao:

2003 TJ Rubicon: I broke the track bar/upper control arm/sway bar/shock mount bracket….

Looking to just cut off the old and replace with stock/ish …. As all the other brackets seem fine and I’m happy with how the Heep performs as is!!!!! I bought it with the 3”ish lift on it….. which means it’s got the track bar extension on it….. this is why it broke, I’m sure!!!!

Has anyone went down this path??? Hoping to find a bracket that possibly has this extension built in, with possible more beef/gusset material available on it!!!!! Don’t want to reinvent this if someone has done it before….

Also gonna be putting new arms and bushings throughout the suspension…. Any input on that would be appreciated as well!!!!!

If you haven’t “actually” done this….. STFU!!!!!

Buy a newer jeep with less rust?

If not Safe-T-cap has the frame side mounts.

That’s the plan…. Just wondering if anyone had some superfabtastic product or experience!!!!!
Cut old part
Clean housing
Line new part in position
Tack new part
Cycle suspension, make sure nothing hits and angles are good through travel
If they are, weld.
If they aren't, cut tacks and move new part in better location then repeat
Paint

<Cool starry bro>

A long time ago I did Rubicon Express brackets on my TJ. They were plenty strong and still on there 20 years later.

Not sure I trust RE stuff anymore, but I have used ruff stuff's link brackets and trusses on my crawler and they are well made and beefy.

Is this what you broke?

Is this what you broke?
No….. I broke the axle side.

Would either of these work?

Option 1

Option 2

Option 2

First one's just a bolt-on relocation bracket….
(This is also whT was on it , causing the bracket to be over leveraged, fatigue and break)!!!

Second one, is the one I ordered!!!!

Test fit because my tack welds are **** and end up knocking the bracket off while doing this….

Boogered the **** out of it because I only have a miller 110V
