This just popped up for sale locally.

I have been wanting something older for a while.

Uses are pretty much just parked in front of my business and take it to the various "Rod Runs" (large old vehicle events) we have a few times a year.

I would think Long Bed and 2wd effect the value.

The paint looks to be an older cheap job.

If this thing is rust free what kind of a deal is $7k or what do you think is the right price for it?

Thanks!

7k isnt too bad. Not a desirable config, but they convert to 4x4 really easy if thats your thing. GM dana 44 basically bolts in the front of them

Depends on how much rust is hiding under that paint.
I paid 7K for the roller.

Everyone knows you can’t leave shit alone:lmao::flipoff2:

The fucker will have military axles and a 6bt in it before the years out:flipoff2:
Um, 2013 F350 axles and a Duramax/Allison already. Plus a 9.5' IH stepside.

But go buy that truck, if it's not too much bondo.

Do you know where they rot?

Where should I look?
Everywhere.:grinpimp:
The 1960s C series really like to rust out under the cowl and it's not an easy fix. Get a good flash light, stand on your head and look up behind the instrument cluster and glove box for rust. Of course check the floor boards, cab corners, rockers etc too. Not a bad price if it's rust free and drives. Of course as an old International collector I remember when that would have been a 1500 truck or less so 7k is:eek:

Ya the trucks don't command Scout pricing.

But of the best IH trucks the C series was the best looking! I agree if the rust is very minimal then it's worth it. I'd offer 5K and go from there.

I want one myself but C series up here in Canada are near non existent rust free. I know where a few are sitting and they're just too far gone.

Can get all those panels these days. We did em in mine.

I plan on looking at it tomm.

If it looks mostly rust free I plan on trying to get it.

I'd like to be closer to $6k on it but not that concerned about price.

I just want an old truck for a while that I can sell down the road and get my money back on it

Most of the trucks I have seen are rat rod style or projects at this price, I don't want either.

Ill let you know after I check it out.
