I'll start: Saran Wrap. That shit does not stick anymore. I know you can get it in big Semi truck size rolls of it for shipping. It works good for boxes.

I remember when Saran Warp was like Duct Tape, better than modern duct tape. I suspect the chemical holocaust is present across all complex glues, mysteriously cyanoacrylate seems to be unaffected, apparently the molecule is easy to manufacture with EPA regulations.

That's what I've heard about Saran Wrap anyway. That the byproducts mean it's not the same. But when I was a kid, you Saran Wrapped something, it stayed wrapped. So did you, and the Saran Wrap box, and the dog, and small children who happened to be in the kitchen at the time you tried to use the Saran Wrap.

Not that I was old enough to partake, but one for the road. My Dad used to get the oil cans of Fosters as his road soda.

Clothes. I've got pants and shorts from the early 2000s still kicking. Tend to only go away when either I get them so disgusting I won't put them on the washer or they catch on fire. Now I can't find a pair of pants that the crotch or back of the knee lasts more than a year or two. Even the same brands.

My high school had a shooting team and they practiced at a range in the basement of the grade school. Can you imagine a group of high school students walking into a grade school carrying rifles in this day and age?

I could take off on my bike all day. Do whatever I wanted, as long as I was home at dinner time.

I actually played outside. Street hockey (in the middle of the road). Football. I would always come home scraped or bruised. Built bike jumps, rode quads, ice hockey on the pond. We did shit and would get hurt.

I use to have a pair you could make 5 or so normal pairs of jeans I wear now.

jeans. the material is much thinner than it was 25 years ago.

Tuffskin jeans from Kmart. Soft and thick and long-lasting. But that was peak Guess jeans time.

But now they sell stretchy jens for those getting old & fat. I just buy the cheap Walmart George brand :grinpimp:

And have the scars to prove it.
I rarely see my neighbors kids outside.

My Dad's buddy had a daughter that was like 8 years older than me. We'd hang out a bunch and all she wore were boy's Jncos. Gave me all her jeans when she grew out of them. I had like 15 pairs. I had some that were like 3' in diameter.
