4 Las Vegas high school students indicted on murder charges in deadly beating of schoolmate​

LAS VEGAS – Four high school students in Las Vegas were indicted Friday as adults on second-degree murder charges in the deadly beating of their schoolmate in November, a fight that was captured on cellphone video and had been widely shared across social media.

Chief Deputy District Attorney John Giordani said in court that the indictment also charges the teenagers with conspiracy to commit battery, a gross misdemeanor.

The Associated Press is not naming the students because they were juveniles at the time of the Nov. 1 beating.

Nine students have so far been arrested in connection with the attack that left 17-year-old Jonathan Lewis Jr. dead. Giordani said the other students are awaiting separate hearings.

According to Las Vegas police, 10 students between the ages of 13 and 17 participated in the beating that unfolded after school in an alleyway just around the corner from Rancho High School. The police department said Friday that investigators are still searching for the 10th suspect.

Houston homicide Detective Caleb Bowling said last month that the 17-year-old, who was about to graduate high school, merged into the right lane and unintentionally cut off the suspect's vehicle. The suspect driver, described as a Black man in his 20s driving a black sedan, allegedly accelerated and "overtook" Wilson's vehicle on the driver's side before he began firing.

Even the most hot headed people don't start shooting when they get cut off unless the fuck up is beyond the pale. Excessive, sure. But it probably also prevented got knows how many future accidents and near misses. Not the kind of slight I'd risk throwing my life away over but I'm not gonna armchair quarterback it.

Valdo Calocane stabbed to death Nottingham University students Grace O’Malley-Kumar, from east London, and Barnaby Webber, along with school caretaker Ian Coates last June.

I've been around a fair amount of fights and violence, but I never got comfortable enough with it to turn my back on it.
Then again, I've never been part of anything like this where the only beating is a 100% chance that 1 guy gets hurt while you and your homies are safe. Quite a privilege to be able to not worry about safety while violence is taking place around you.

Look at this one talk at the camera while not watching. It's the cool-guy show off like a cheesy movie where the guy walks away from an explosion behind him while he doesn't look back.

street fight usually ends when someone goes down....smashing the head against concrete cause your an animal does not count...
