I've got an old, unused reproduction functional lamp like this.

First time I've seen one in operation. I searched, and you can buy that brand of calcium carbide.

I CANNOT believe how bright the lamp is!

Also, I thought you filled the bottom with water, then tossed in the rocks. Apparently you drip the water onto the rocks. I would have really fuked that up!
