The Kamala thread.

Remove the media slant and Kamala wouldn’t even be a blip on the radar.
Agree,

To the average uneducated who believes everything they hear shes telling them things they want to hear.

Keep saying something over and over and people start to believe it.

Seen a lot of signs pop up around my apartment in the last month, but that's not surprising in a blue city. It's still wayyy less than what I saw out for Hilary in 2016. Significantly more than Biden in 2020, but there wasn't Biden shit anywhere in 2020. I don't think it's anything more than the DNC getting as much shit out there to look like people support her though.

Edit: For context, there's thousands of signs out for various dems in local elections in the part of the city I'm in and the Kamala signs don't even come close to that number. Maybe one in every 20 houses with other Dem signs out have a Kamala sign out. No doubt those people will still vote for her but they're clearly not enthusiastic about it, I don't think she's bringing anyone out to vote for her that wasn't going to vote Dem across the board anyway.

Trump voters have had their minds made up since 2016 anyway. I think most are ready to just go vote and be done already.

I think alot of people will be shocked by how much actual support she has. Its amazing just how stupid the general population is and how they will suck down anything the media feeds them.
This.

I still think the vast majority of her support just boils down to "anyone but Trump" mentality. Swap out Kamala for the local dog catcher and the polls wouldn't change much.
"Anything but Trump" coupled with, "we need a change."
"Change you can count on or believe in", whatever. And "It's time we elect a minority". - Obama
"We need to stop voting in politicians, it's time for a business man". - circus 2016

The change here is the woman aspect and that is half of what she is running on and why people are voting for her. There was much more visual support for Hillary, but flustered in the polls, I'm hoping for the same here. The other half obviously being "orange man bad". There's some touting the "because she's black" shtick and they're running on that. Yet, no "because she's Indian", from the campaign or the voters. The Dem Vote Purchase is always out there too. "Free money for everyone. Except that group. You know who you are and why you get nothing. Shameful."

It's ever more sickening how many people focus on those useless "change" mottoes and ignore what the person will actually do for them, the voter. Or look at the DVP and say "Hey, that shits gunna put some Benjis in my pocket. Hell yeah!." And not have a second thought as to what that costs them and their community in the future.

I've seen a handful of "vote blue" signs around the area which figures with the amount of fucktards moving here from shitty dem states.

Saw one yesterday coupled with a handmade wooden sign on the house that said something to the effect of "a vote for a Republican is a vote to ruin democracy" I was dumbfounded how fucking stupid people are. :homer:

It's amazing how close they are to pulling off the gaslighting of her being the "change candidate" when she's literally the sitting Vice President AND she has literally publicly said in an interview on primetime national television that she can't think of anything that she would have done differently than Joe Biden. Like... WHAT??!!! How do you say THAT and THEN thirty seconds later with a straight face start talking about how you're the change candidate. Fucking clown world.

People are just flat out willing to be gaslit. Just tell me what I want to hear. Make me feel good about it. Nevermind never delivering on any of the campaign promises. I can feel comfortable with myself and feel morally superior because I voted for the person who said nice things. 🤡

That moral superiority is a thing.
I didn't jump on the Trump bandwagon real quick in 2016, I was pretty fucking hesitant.
But when the democrats have been bombing the fuck out of brown people and Joe is up there sniffing and inappropriately touching girls, making them and their parents visibly uncomfortable, the choice is easy.

But somehow Trump voters are deplorables

Repeat that lie enough times...

Mohave County, Arizona is 100% Trump signs, flags, banners.

San Diego, California is 90% Harris yard signs. Don't really see any Trump or republican signs around San Diego during any election cycle. The liberals steal them as fast as they go up. I don't bother displaying my political preferences. I have cameras. I don't want to file a theft report on one of my neighbors.

In the whole theme of "yesterday's conspiracy theories become today's facts" the conspiracy theory that the whole world in terms of the global elites is actually ran by a small Jewish cabal is looking pretty fucking good right now considering that to be a national level politician for the most powerful nation on earth, the one box you have to check regardless of party affiliation and regardless of what would be best for you personally electorally is to pledge undying loyalty to the tiny foreign country of Israel.

Anytime I hear them using "democracy"...I just look at them as if they're retarded.

You mean you don't think it's coincidence that the only person in Congress without a personal AIPAC lobbyist is Thomas Massey? You're clearly just an anti-semite.

It's a weird thing isn't it?

It's a weird thing isn't it?

It's beyond weird. It's completely fucking bizarre that a tiny country with the population of Michigan on the other side of the globe that is barely a top 50 trade partner has more control over our government than any other entity on the planet including American voters.

Honestly think Trumps VP pick was a bad choice. You might think it was a good one, but no ones trying to win you over. Most women won't vote for trump because they think he will set them back to the stone age on feminine rights. His VP pick pretty much affirmed that for them. He would have been much better off to pick a woman or at least someone who was a bit more left leaning than he is seen as.

What if they ran some sort of pedophile blackmail ring though a high level financier who just coincidentally was tied to almost every politician and celebrity and also partnered with a woman who coincidentally was the daughter of a high level Mossad agent.

But that would never happen because they're our greatest ally. They definitely didn't murder a bunch of our sailors unprovoked, steal nuclear secrets from us, or refuse to help us in all of our foreign wars that their Prime Minister pushed for for 3 decades promising us it would stabilize the region.

None of those dots are connected at all. Just crazy coincidences.

He should have picked Tulsi, just to watch liberal heads explode

I think it was an over correction for wanting to pick someone competent instead of impeachment insurance like Pence. Especially after how much scrutiny Kamala was under for the same reason. Vance is solid in that regard, but you're right about him not bringing anything to the table in regards to pulling votes from certain demographics.

I would have agreed with you months ago, but I don't think he needs a VP that pulls votes from non-traditional demographics. He's got a ton of hispanic and black support as it is and he's got Vivek killing it on the campaign trail for him already. He's also got Tulsi and RFK Jr in his camp campaigning for him as well.

As with most things with Trump he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. He could just as easily have picked Vivek or Tim Scott to run with, but you know what would have happened had he done that. All you'd hear from media outlets is he picked them due to race and they'd run yet another race baiting angle.

Tulsi would have been a great choice, but alas that didn't happen.

Eh, I think he'd lose a lot of support from his base if he'd chosen her. It's been great to see her come around on issues, but her record on the Second Amendment is terrible. I like her in general, and to an extent I believe she's come around on that as well, but she's effectively been out of politics and has no voting record to back those claims. It wasn't that long ago she was vice chair of the DNC.

I think he could've picked Hillary as his VP and not lost much of his base. I'm not even joking.

Agree in principle. I mean, really....the DNC has installed a candidate (with a VP cand.) who truly makes the Joe look like a brilliant statesman. And, somehow, someway, the masses (on that side of the fence) are simply lapping it up. I get it "Not Trump."

At this point, any predictability and legitimacy are completely out-the-window. Most asinine election in my lifetime, as I can recall (and not just presidential election). :clown:

That.

Heard from a lot of people around these liberal parts that they are scared of "what He will do if He wins."

I generally stay away from watching TV news channels, but it sounds like there has been a spin that implies Trump will do everything from getting revenge on everyone who opposed him once he's president to turning into a some kind of dictator that suddenly takes over the United States.

Heard one old lady friend of my mom's actually looking into how she could move to Switzerland "if things get bad." Lady- you're 80 years old with a house in your name, kids, grandkids living in the US. You ain't going anywhere :shaking:.

But yes, there's a sunset of people that think the US will turn into Nazi Germany if Trump wins, so they'll vote for anyone running against him, no matter the credentials.

That's the scary part. The POTUS elections just keep getting more and more absurdly ridiculous. Are we gonna have Dana White running against Whoopi Goldberg on '28? I mean, it couldn't be seen as shocking.

I dont display political views, considering these yard signs tho...

she probably said she was leaving the first time he got elected
This time around felt different than what I've heard people say in the past. This person was actually in the process of figuring out the logistics of selling their stuff here, and finding a new place. They were also plotting on how they could use their silent generation/boomer wealth to also move the entire rest of their family. I'm friends with her son. He has no idea she's doing this and no way he's moving, but it all seemed like she had done the leg work to get all the pieces lined up.

Later it was said: "this is the most important decision of our time." in a grave voice. At that point I figured out how to excuse myself and head back home.
Anyway, my point is there are a bunch of people who couldn't care less how dumb or smart or corrupt or phony or dishonest Kamala is. They just see it as Very Bad Things Happening™ vs status quo.

What surprises me is how they fail to see the trend, same shit every 4 years.. Pick the right side or we gonna die.

Meanwhile we get fucked, and the government cock gets bigger.. I guess some people are stretched out and just don't realize they getting fucked and ask for more.:homer:

It's crazy. I gave up after this talk:

"I'm afraid of what he'll do if he wins."
"What do you mean?"
"We just don't know what he's going to do."
"Sure we do, we had him as president for four years."
"Yes, but this time he said he's going to get revenge."
"How would he do that? He still has to work with congress..."
"We just don't know what he's going to do."
"Ah, ok."

I think it's a generational thing. It seems like older people still do nothing but get their news through TV and whatever chain email their friends send. They trust whatever the news says 100% as long as it's the one they agree with. No further scrutiny or independent research necessary if they said it. Makes me realize how fact checking in a debate can be weaponized. If the moderators say it, it has to be true. If it contradicts what the politician said, then it's because the politician is a dirty rotten liar.
